Kivalo Electrical (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through kivalo.com.au, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send a quote request through our enquiry form (provided by TradeHQ, a third-party job management service) we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, job address, a description of the job, and any files you attach.
We also collect basic website usage information (pages visited, device type, and how you arrived at the site, such as clicking a Google ad) using cookies and similar technologies from Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager) and, where enabled, Meta and Microsoft Clarity (which records anonymised screen activity, such as taps and scrolling, to show us how the site is used).
If you use the chat assistant on this site, we process the messages you type in order to answer them. Where AI answers are switched on, those messages are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate the reply. Please don't enter personal details in the chat. Use the quote form or call us instead.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, provide a quote, and carry out any work you ask us to do.
- To understand which pages and advertising bring people to the site, so we can improve it.
- To show our ads to people who have visited the site, where advertising cookies are enabled.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who sees it
Quote requests go to us through TradeHQ and are recorded in our job management software. Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Meta) receive usage data as described above. Their handling of data is covered by their own privacy policies. We only share your details with anyone else where the law requires it, or where needed to do the job you asked for.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Google account. The site works normally if cookies are blocked.
Access, correction and questions
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, by contacting us at admin@kivalo.com.au or on 0412 578 364. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
